The number of intellectual unemployment in Indonesia there were so fantastic. According to Central Bureau of Statistics Indonesia, in August 2011, unemployment in Indonesia reached 7.7 million people. While the number of unemployed college graduates in 2011 reached 492 343 people. High unemployment is due to the intellectual world of education in Indonesia, which is quite low and has a few drawbacks, one of which is difficult to provide education that can actually foster professionalism in one's career or work. Education in Indonesia in terms of too much emphasis on theory rather than in terms of practice. And yet the maximum development of entrepreneurial commitment Additionally college graduates in Indonesia, more are choosing to work in an office rather than become entrepreneurs.
The increasing number of intellectual unemployment in Indonesia caused by the orientation degree to find work, rather than creating jobs. To overcome this intellectual unemployment, the government should form a partnership or synergy between government, private sector and university institution with their respective roles. Government's role as regulator or policy maker. The policy needs to be reset are in education and economic field. In the field of education such as policies limiting the formation of new courses at each college. Establishment of study programs should be more flexible and includes many occupations. In the economic sector such as increasing the number of budget allocations to improve education. While the role of the private sector as a provider of business fields. And finally, the role of university is to improve the education system in Indonesia. Of formation of this partnership is expected to reduce the number of intellectual unemployment in Indonesia.
